MULTIPLE DISTRICT 32 STATE CONVENTION

Soon we will be together in Spartanburg celebrating Lions and the service we provide to our communities throughout South Carolina.  Our theme this year is "100 Years of Celebrating SC Lions in MD32".  Our convention committee has been working very hard to ensure this is an event that will be enjoyed by everyone. We are planning a weekend where you can reconnect with old friends, make new friends, and network to share ideas. 
 

​​Please help us keep the cost of our convention down by selling club ads for the convention program book.  The ad order form is on the tab labeled 'Forms'.  We also request that you bring items for the hospitality suite (baked goods must be individually wrapped) or donate something for the silent auction.  Proceeds from the silent auction are donated to LVS each year.  You can bring your hospitality suite and silent auction items to the Gabardine Room at the 1881 Event Hall on Friday 05/02/25 starting at 9:00 am. 


Our MD is only charging each Lion the menu list price for your meals.  The hotel charges the MD not only the menu cost but also 9% sales tax and a 22% service charge, which is standard practice in the hospitality industry. Instead of passing those additional charges onto our Lions, the MD is paying those charges using the proceeds from the MD32 program book to help offset the ever-increasing cost of food we have been charged at all convention venues over the past 3-4 years. Once again our program book will have a 'Friends of the Lions MD32 Convention' sponsorship page. If you or your club want to help the MD convention by making a sponsorship donation of  $25 or more, please complete the Sponsorship form located on the website 'Forms' page to be recognized on the program book sponsorship page. 
 

​We encourage you to register online using the form on the page labeled 'Online Registration' so we know you plan to attend and your meal selections. It only takes about 4 minutes to complete and submit the form online.  An invoice will be sent to you by email within 48 hours after we receive your online registration. When you receive your invoice you can either print and mail it to the registrar with a check, pay your invoice with your debit or credit card for a 3.25% fee (not to exceed $7.00), or pay by ACH with your bank account for no fee.
