On behalf of DG Linda Rumsey and DG Anthony Bell, we welcome all SC Lions to our State Convention in Columbia, SC to celebrate our Lions and the service provided by them in South Carolina.  Our theme this year is "We Are Family".  Our committee has been working very hard to ensure this is an event that will be enjoyed by everyone. We are planning a healthy, appealing, fun-filled weekend that you won’t forget and will follow all CDC guidelines in effect during our convention.

We will be collecting canned and other non-perishable food for Harvest Hope in Columbia. Please request that your club members participate in this service by donating food to assist people dealing with food insecurity.

Please help us keep the cost of our convention down by selling club ads for the convention program book.  The ad order form is on the tab labeled 'Forms'.  We also request that you donate something for the silent auction.  Proceeds from the silent auction are donated to LVS each year.  You can bring your silent auction items to the our registration table at the hotel on Friday beginning at 11:00 am. 

 

We have used the proceeds from the MD32 program book to offset the ever-increasing cost of food at all convention venues. We have only charged the menu list price for each meal.  However, the hotel charges the MD not only this cost but also an additional 22% service charge, which is standard practice in the hospitality industry. Something new this year is our 'Friends of the Lions MD32 Convention' sponsorship page in our program book. If you would like to help the MD convention by making a personal sponsorship donation of  $25 or more, please complete the 'Personal Sponsorship' form located on the website 'Forms' page.

We encourage you to register online using the form on the page labeled 'Online Registration' so we know of your plans to attend and your meal selections early. It only takes about 4 minutes to complete the form online and submit it.  After you receive your invoice you can either print it out and mail it to the registrar with your check, pay your invoice with your debit or credit card for a 3.25% fee not to exceed $6.00, or pay by ACH with your bank account for no added fee.
